BCEHL PLAYOFF UPDATE - MARCH 14th - 16th

Saanichton, B.C. - The playoffs continue to roll along in the BCEHL as the Female U18 and U18 leagues move onto the semifinals, while the puck is set to drop in the U17 Championship Final this weekend. Let's get set for all the action!

 

 

Female U18 AAA

 

The fourth-seeded Thompson-Okanagan Lakers clinched a berth into the semifinals after defeating the Vancouver Island Seals in last weekend's Survivor Series. They will now face the top-seeded Greater Vancouver Comets in a rematch of last season's semifinal. The second semifinal matchup will see the second-seeded Fraser Valley Rush take on the third-seeded Northern Capitals with a spot in the finals on the line.

March 7-9 (Survivor Series - Best-of-Three)

 

·       (5) Vancouver Island Seals vs. (4) Thompson-Okanagan Lakers

The Thompson-Okanagan Lakers advanced with a 2-0 series win

 

March 14-16 (Semifinals - Best-of-Three)

 

·       (1) Greater Vancouver Comets vs. (4) Thompson-Okanagan Lakers

·       (2) Fraser Valley Rush vs. (3) Northern Capitals

 

March 21-22 (Championship - Best-of-Three)

We're down to the final four in the U18 league as the semifinals are set to kick off on Friday. With spots in the finals on the line, the top-seeded Cariboo Cougars will take on the fourth-seeded Vancouver North West Hawks, while the second-seeded Valley West Giants go up against the third-seeded Okanagan Rockets.

The top-seeded Okanagan Rockets and third-seeded Vancouver North West Hawks punched their tickets to the U17 Championship Final with victories in the semifinals last weekend. The puck is set to drop on Friday in Kelowna between the Rockets and Hawks in a best-of-three series to determine who will hoist the U17 Championship trophy.

Congratulations to the Okanagan Rockets on winning the 2024-25 BCEHL U15 Championship!

 

The U15 Championship took place at Langley Twin Rinks from February 27-March 2 where all eight teams competed in three round-robin games. Followed by a single-elimination knockout stage, the squads were seeded based on the results of the round-robin stage. Sunday's championship final saw the Okanagan Rockets skate against the Cariboo Cougars.
